Hey guys, welcome to my blog! Today my group and I created a storyboard for our "Rude" music video. First Scene- During the first scene of our music video, an actor will jump out of bed and stand in a suit. It will be a pan movement, where the camera will move horizontally from the actor in bed to the actor standing up. It will also be a Point of View shot, where the camera is positioned at the eyes of the person filming. The location we will be filming this scene is at Carleigh's house, and in her bedroom. This is because we need the bed as a prop, and her closet for the suit. Second Scene- The next scene we wanted to include in our music video is a actor getting into a car and resting their hands on the steering wheel. The location for this scene will be the street outside of Carleigh's house. The actor getting into the car will be wearing a tee-shirt and shorts. It will also be a wide shot so that we can show the car and the area around it. Third Scene- The third

Hey guys, welcome to my blog! Today I will be planning my "Rude" music video. Plan: Song title: "Rude" by MAGIC!            Hey guys, welcome to my blog! I am excited to announce that my group is making a music video to "Rude" by MAGIC! This song falls under the pop genre, where music videos usually have exciting backgrounds and flashy outfits.  In pop music videos, women's costumes include elegant dresses, big earrings, streetwear, heels, and headbands. Music videos that show women wearing elegant dresses and heels include "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry, "Love Story" by Taylor Swift, and "Dear Future Husband" by Meghan Trainor. Music videos that show women wearing streetwear, big earrings and headbands include "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift, "Shower" by Becky G, and "Want U Back" by Cher Lloyd.                                                    Men's costumes in pop music videos include suits and mainstream outfits such as shorts, hoodies, and neutral-colored T-shirts. Music videos that have men wearing suits include "

What a Partner

Hey, welcome back to my second group blog! I will be talking about the group I choose for my video, which is my friend Alyssa Pearlman. One set back this time when working with Alyssa is the fact that we are on a different timeline, but we figured it out and we're going to get through it. On a positive note Alyssa is a very hard worker who takes the tiniest assignments and does it to the extreme and makes it perfect. Alyssa has to be one of the smartest people I know, she gets amazing grades and does extremely well on her tests. I first met Alyssa freshman year and we didn't really start to build a friendship until half way through.  It was easy building our connection because I sat right behind her in Spanish class. I know I made the right choice of having her in my group because she played a huge part in making our commercial great. My group went through changes from last time because Taylor is no longer in our group. This is because Taylor moved to St. Thomas Aquinas, a dif

Its Me Again

Hey Cambridge it's me, Carleigh Tripp, again. I am still a student at Fort Lauderdale High School and I am Still 15, however I am turning 16 on December 21st. I joined AICE media studies because I've always found interest in filming and showing my creative side. So far I've had a wonderful time making videos, especially the latest project we completed. The last project was a commercial and the item we choose was the energy drink Celsius. My favorite part of that project was incorporating the angles and editing that we learned in class. I learned a lot on filming and editing, mainly using editing apps and how to create those cool effects through technology. As we progress through the course I would like to film people who aren't part of the class to get more people than me and my partner. I would also like to include my dog since he's energetic yet can take commands well, if I told him to sit and stay he would. His names Ripley, he's 8 years old and is a Parti P
