Production Blog: Finishing our filming.

 Last weekend Alyssa and I completed filming the outside part of our intro to a movie. Yesterday on March 14th 2023 we filmed the rest of our video at my house. I picked Alyssa and Stella up from school and drove them to my house. We all dressed up in character and began to film. We needed to get done soon because it was a school night and Alyssa and Stella have a pretty decent drive home. Unfortunately for us, some parts of the filming didn't go as smoothly as we thought it would. We had a lot of hiccups during the stage where Stella sees the mysterious man enter my home. We couldn't figure out how to do a long shot while also incorporating Stella in the shot. It was either we were too far from the door and you could hardly see the mystery man or we were too close to the mystery man that Stella was barely in the frame. We wanted Stella to be near the edge of the driveway so it looked like she just happened to walk by while breaking in was taking place. All of our attempts didn't work and when we got it it just looked way off. So I tried using the 0.5 setting on my phones camera. I wasn't very hopeful that this was going to work but it was worth a shot. Our prayers were heard, it worked. We were able to include Stella in the shot while also being able to clearly see the mystery man everting the house. Another issue to occur while the filming is that we kept laughing at each other. I think it's because our serotonin levels were high due to our upcoming spring break. Filming today was super fun and I really enjoyed my final project and im sad its over.
