Planning Blog 2: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

 For our video, there are a lot of aspects that go into filming, especially now because there is a lot riding on it. 

Location:

For our video the specific of where we're going to be filming is already planned out. We are going to start in a park. There is a park called Gorge English right by my house so this location is perfect. We will be filming in the park for the first 2 scenes. For the next couple scenes we are going to be filming at my house. This is perfect because my house has a bathroom door with a lock that's really easy to pick. This will be perfect for the bathroom scene, where she gets taken. The last location will be at my grandma's house. Here we will film the bystander sitting on her lazy boy watching the news. This is when they will about the missing child. The bystander remembers seeing the house shown on the video and calls the police to give them a description of the
mysterious man. 

Participants: 

Alyssa and I have always done a 2 person video but for this project it might be a little difficult, however we will be doubling roles. Carleigh Tripp will be playing the Chloe. Chloe is one of the main characters in this film.  Chloe is a track-star and is stalked by the mysterious man. Alyssa Pearlman will be playing the metros name, who has no name. The mysterious man is a creepy old man, who kidnaps and tortures young girls. The police are trying to tack him down, but there have been many failed attempts because he leaves no evidence. Chloe is definitely not his first victim, but will she be his last? Abril Porcile will be playing Katelyn, Chloes best friend. Katelyn is the first one to spot the mysterious man lurking behind her in the park. Katelyn doesn't make a reappearance until a while later in the film. The parents will be played by Carleigh Tripp and Alyssa Pearlman. Carleigh will be the mom and Alyssa will be the dad. Stella Lipscomb will be playing the innocent bystander. In scene 5 is where the bystander will appear. She will watch as the mystery man in black enters the home of Chloe. But this bystander didn't report anything because she didn't know if it was her parents. She gave statement however when Chloe Appeared on the new, and the gave out her last known location. The cops will be played by Carleigh Tripp and Alyssa Pearlman. They will follow up on the call, interview the witness and attempt to save Chloe. 

Health 

Safety is the number on priority so my group and I have some rules to set in place. Carleigh is the only group member with her license so she will be the on to drive the car. To be able to shove her in the car and drive away we are going to do a transition. Carleigh will safely drive us to the park and to her house, everyone will be wearing their seatbelts. To make sure no one gets injured during the kidnapping shot, where Chloe is dragged into the car. Alyssa will not tightly grab Carleigh and Carleigh will pretend to fake hit Alyssa to represent a struggle. To make sure our film doesn't become a reality a parent will be present at all locations of our filming. Plus everyone in our group will have cell phone so incase of an emergency we can quickly call someone. 

Schedule: 

My group and I have'y had the discussion of when we are going to film, but it needs to be soon because the deadline is right around the corner. We are going to try and film on a weekend, like a Saturday because most likely everyone will be available. Unfortunately we need a day where the park is empty and people aren't working out on the trail we are going to be using. This might affect the schedule because we might agree on a day and its too busy for us to film in. We would then need to reschedule and who knows how long we'll have to wait to start filming.
