 For our video, there are a lot of aspects that go into filming, especially now because there is a lot riding on it.  Location: For our video the specific of where we're going to be filming is already planned out. We are going to start in a park. There is a park called Gorge English right by my house so this location is perfect. We will be filming in the park for the first 2 scenes. For the next couple scenes we are going to be filming at my house. This is perfect because my house has a bathroom door with a lock that's really easy to pick. This will be perfect for the bathroom scene, where she gets taken. The last location will be at my grandma's house. Here we will film the bystander sitting on her lazy boy watching the news. This is when they will about the missing child. What's going on behind the Camera?

     We did all of our editing on iMovie. iMovie is just a free app used to create videos, movies, trailer, and now storyboards. Once we figured out which app we were using I had choose the videos that would work best and put them in order following our storyboard. Once I got them in order I had to trim down the videos to 5 seconds each that way our commercial would make the 30 second cut off. Once we got them in order it looked pretty good except a little choppy. We tried some cool editing trick involving scene at the tennis courts, however, it didn't flow and made the commercial way too long, so we took it out. Alyssa noticed that one out our scene didn't include a tilt, which was required, so Taylor and her dad are planning on fixing that and sending it over to me because the project is on my phone. Movie Conventions Research: The Platform

   What elements of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? Now this movie is very strange and is very suspenseful. The movie offers themes such as sacrifice, bravery, malnourishment, and physiological damage. This movie takes place in a vertical prison with no windows, no cells, a giant square hole down the middle and hundreds floors. The square hole allows for a floating piece of cement to pass through, this floating rock hold a buffet of all kinds of food. The people on the top floor get the luxury of having fresh, untouched food, while the people on the bottom floor are left with nothing but chewed up scarps, bones, and no water. Malnourishment is often seen in movies where the victim has been kidnap and is being help hostage. This would be a great element to add in our movie clip because starvation falls under the kidnapping theme.
