Editing - 1, Carleigh - 0

Today is the day Alyssa and I face the challenge of editing our music video. Neither Alyssa and I are skilled in the world of editing, so this shall be a bumpy ride. I am allowed to move study halls, so I go to Alyssa's everyday. This gives is the perfect opportunity to start editing. Once we arrived I asked Alyssa to heart her favorite clips because she's very picky. Once she finished that I opened up iMovie. When I was ready, I opened up the storyboard blog and used that as a guideline to place the clips in the correct order. However when I did this I messed it up. Some clips were in the wrong spot, which made the music not flow with the clips. This was a quick fix, Alyssa helped rearrange them. I didn't want Cambridge to see the cuts in the video so I fixed that with the help of transitions. I believe I a wide range of different transitions that fix the scene it was going to flow into. I then shortened the clips to the exact moment we needed it at. Once this step was completed, it was time to include our song Rude by magic. This part was a little nerve-racking for two reasons. One being that I wasn't;t sure if the song was going to match our lip singing in the clips. Two being the fact the neither Alyssa or I had any idea how to add the music. Alyssa grabbed a computer and searched up how to add music to iMovie. She told me to check under audio, located in the top left corner. I clicked on it and added our song in a minute of seconds. Once imported I had to check to see if the audio match what was coming out of our mouths. This was the longest part of editing because I continuously needed to trim and lengthen the clips, so the audio matched up perfectly. Though the editing process took up my whole study hall, the video still felt incomplete. This is where the final touches come into play.
