     On Wednesday the 5th, I started filming my Celsius Commercial with group. Me and Alyssa meet at Taylors' house. My whole group which includes Alyssa and Taylor were there so we were able to complete our commercial. Taylor bought Celsius and Strawberry's, I brought my tennis bag and two rackets and Alyssa brought the story board. I wasn't there when Alyssa and Taylor filmed the Treadmill scene. But I did arrive for the struggle of the scene where we drop strawberry's and celsius in the pool. This scene had to have been the hardest scene to film. Taylor's dad Brought out his GoPro and really helped. He showed us good angles and where to drop it so we could get the perfect shot at a tilt eye level angle. After this we took Taylor's golf cart over to riverside park to film on the tennis courts. This scene by far was the funniest scene. Taylor couldn't hit 2 balls in a row and Alyssa was on the floor filming a low angle and was laughing so much. It was probably my favorite scene to film. After filming we drove home and Alyssa got picked up because she had a dentist appointment at 3:00pm. My mom didn't come till later which gave Taylor and I enough time to pick out videos that we thought would look best in our commercial. We had so many bloopers especially for the scene where we dropped the celsius and Taylor had to catch it showing the logo. We laughed so much my stomach hurt, I'm just hoping the videos and editing flow smoothly and turn out very fun, neat, and entertaining. Friday we plan to start editing and putting our commercial  together. I had a great time filming with them and plan too in the future. This was our adventure during filming.

Throughout the Mystery short film, The Vision, there was a boy looking for his friend throughout a fever dream and never ended up finding out if his friend was ok or not. There was common sounds like creepy music playing in the background. The lighting throughout the short film was very dark and eerie. The boys bedroom as well as all the settings that were shown throughout the film were dark and made a viewer feel uncomfortable. A common editing tactic in the mystery genre is foreshadowing which means early in the film, a hint is given as to what is going to happen as the plot. Another common tactic is suspense. Suspense is built through ending scenes with cliffhangers, making a character complicated, intense point of view, and hints as to what is to come throughout the film.  I really enjoy the suspenseful part about mystery genre films. Its Me Again

 Hey Cambridge it's me, Carleigh Tripp, again. I am still a student at Fort Lauderdale High School and I am Still 15, however I am turning 16 on December 21st. I joined AICE media studies because I've always found interest in filming and showing my creative side. So far I've had a wonderful time making videos, especially the latest project we completed. The last project was a commercial and the item we choose was the energy drink Celsius. My favorite part of that project was incorporating the angles and editing that we learned in class. I learned a lot on filming and editing, mainly using editing apps and how to create those cool effects through technology. As we progress through the course I would like to film people who aren't part of the class to get more people than me and my partner.     Short film research: ( The Last Note/Mystery) Hey blogg. Today we will be discussing an award-winning mystery short film called "The Last Note" and pointing out different features within this film. For some background, the film begins with David driving to lake while taking about leaving his wife and all his problems with her. Then David is seen with a body bag which is Catherine and dumps her in a lake. He does this due to catching ehr cheating on him the night before. Once David returns home, he starts drinking a liquor while reading a book named Murder. In the book, there was a note from Catherine and as he reads to there are flashbacks to her putting posion in the bottle. He then relazies as she write “sorry I had to do this , goodbye David” and he passes away.
