Title Research Blog: Smile

  What  titles are displayed during the opening sequences? They start of by telling us that Paramount Pictures are presenting the movie Smile. Paramount Pictures are in association with Paramount Players. The next title sequence tells us this movie is a Temple Hill Production. Next in all caps they show the name of the movie, SMILE. They present this by flashing different shades of the color red. Next in the opening sequence they introduce the actors. Actors in this mover are Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, Caitlin Stasey, Kal Penn, Rob Morgan, Judy Reyes, and Gillian Zinser. The cast was chosen by casting direction Monika Mikkelsen. Smile has extravagant amd special makeup which was designed and created by Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr. The ominous music we here throughout the movie and title sequence is by Cristobal Tapia De Veer. Production Blog: Finishing our filming.

 Last weekend Alyssa and I completed filming the outside part of our intro to a movie. Yesterday on March 14th 2023 we filmed the rest of our video at my house. I picked Alyssa and Stella up from school and drove them to my house. We all dressed up in character and began to film. We needed to get done soon because it was a school night and Alyssa and Stella have a pretty decent drive home. Unfortunately for us, some parts of the filming didn't go as smoothly as we thought it would. We had a lot of hiccups during the stage where Stella sees the mysterious man enter my home. We couldn't figure out how to do a long shot while also incorporating Stella in the shot. It was either we were too far from the door and you could hardly see the mystery man or we were too close to the mystery man that Stella was barely in the frame. We wanted Stella to be near the edge of the driveway so it looked like she just happened to walk by while breaking in was taking place. All of our attempts didn...

Planning Blog 2: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

 For our video, there are a lot of aspects that go into filming, especially now because there is a lot riding on it.  Location: For our video the specific of where we're going to be filming is already planned out. We are going to start in a park. There is a park called Gorge English right by my house so this location is perfect. We will be filming in the park for the first 2 scenes. For the next couple scenes we are going to be filming at my house. This is perfect because my house has a bathroom door with a lock that's really easy to pick. This will be perfect for the bathroom scene, where she gets taken. The last location will be at my grandma's house. Here we will film the bystander sitting on her lazy boy watching the news. This is when they will about the missing child.
