3 peas in a pod!!

 For my commercial I'm working with Alyssa Pearlman and Taylor Held. I became close with them freshman year but, I've known Taylor since second grade, but we lost touch and re-gained it in high school. Alyssa and Taylor I consider some of my closest friends however that's not the only reason I chose them. I chose them because they both have a good work ethic, they try their hardest and get the job done. I also choose them because its like a party when I'm with them. They really are some of the funnest and funniest people I know. Alyssa is always laughing. There could nothing going on and Alyssa will be laughing. This is one of the reasons I want to work with her, she gets the assignment done with a good grade but also makes it fun. Taylor is also the same. She is like a sister to me. Taylor is really bright when it comes to creating something, she'll always have an idea. She also gives great feedback and advice. So she'll whip us into shape if we're not showing enough emotion or if were holding the camera wrong. Which is why she is a perfect person to work with in this class. I'm really glad to be in this class because this can give me an advantage if I wanted a career in filming. I'm also glad to be learning about the editing, sounds, and camera angles that go into some of our favorite shows. Without all of movement, shows could be quite boring and viewers might lose interest fast which is why editing and angles are critical to the filmmaking world. I'm really excited for this upcoming year and all the assignments in the near future. I'm even more excited to be completing this journey with my friends Taylor and Alyssa.

Throughout the Mystery short film, The Vision, there was a boy looking for his friend throughout a fever dream and never ended up finding out if his friend was ok or not. There was common sounds like creepy music playing in the background. The lighting throughout the short film was very dark and eerie. The boys bedroom as well as all the settings that were shown throughout the film were dark and made a viewer feel uncomfortable. A common editing tactic in the mystery genre is foreshadowing which means early in the film, a hint is given as to what is going to happen as the plot. Another common tactic is suspense. Suspense is built through ending scenes with cliffhangers, making a character complicated, intense point of view, and hints as to what is to come throughout the film.  I really enjoy the suspenseful part about mystery genre films. Its Me Again

 Hey Cambridge it's me, Carleigh Tripp, again. I am still a student at Fort Lauderdale High School and I am Still 15, however I am turning 16 on December 21st. I joined AICE media studies because I've always found interest in filming and showing my creative side. So far I've had a wonderful time making videos, especially the latest project we completed. The last project was a commercial and the item we choose was the energy drink Celsius. My favorite part of that project was incorporating the angles and editing that we learned in class. I learned a lot on filming and editing, mainly using editing apps and how to create those cool effects through technology.     Short film research: ( The Last Note/Mystery) Hey blogg. Today we will be discussing an award-winning mystery short film called "The Last Note" and pointing out different features within this film. For some background, the film begins with David driving to lake while taking about leaving his wife and all his problems with her. Then David is seen with a body bag which is Catherine and dumps her in a lake. He does this due to catching ehr cheating on him the night before. Once David returns home, he starts drinking a liquor while reading a book named Murder. In the book, there was a note from Catherine and as he reads to there are flashbacks to her putting posion in the bottle. He then relazies as she write “sorry I had to do this , goodbye David” and he passes away.
